Tabari Artspace, established in 2003, is a contemporary art gallery dedicated to championing artists from across the MENA region. With a long standing commitment to discovery, critical dialogue, and alternative perspectives, the gallery has evolved into an international platform supporting both emerging and established voices.

Central to the gallery’s mission is a strong emphasis on amplifying the work of female artists, shaping cultural programming that reimagines how diverse narratives enter and influence the global art conversation. In parallel, Tabari Artspace collaborates with diasporic artists whose practices engage with memory, identity, and displacement, extending its reach across geographies, generations, and lived experience.

Through mentorship, institutional partnerships, and strategic global positioning, Tabari Artspace supports its artists in building visibility within museum collections, biennales, and art fairs. The gallery’s work forges meaningful connections between artists and audiences, both regionally and internationally.

The residency programme further advances this ethos by investing in the future of contemporary art through the provision of space, resources, and critical engagement. Designed to encourage cross disciplinary exchange, the programme nurtures dialogue and supports the development of practices that reflect and reshape the cultural landscapes from which they emerge. Through these efforts, Tabari Artspace contributes to preserving the region’s artistic heritage while actively cultivating the future of MENA art on a global stage.
