Overview

DIFCSTAT provides companies a convenient online facility for submitting registration information and data for fulfilling regulatory requirements. Based on a secure, customised and interactive application, DIFCSTAT allows clients to easily complete their registration process with the DIFC Registrar of Companies and Office of Data Protection.

Simplified Submission of Registration Forms

DIFCSTAT offers the following services

• Registration with the Registrar of Companies: Companies wishing to join DIFC can use DIFCSTAT to submit registration forms.
• Registration with the Office of Data Protection: Companies can apply for their data protection permit using DIFCSTAT.  
• Notification of changes to Registrar of Companies (RoC) and Data Protection (DP): Registered entities can update information provided in their registration forms through DIFCSTAT. Examples include changing/adding/removing company secretary/director/partner; changing address; and adding/removing auditors.   
• Renewal of licenses: Registered entities can submit applications for renewing their commercial and DP licences online through DIFCSTAT.  DP license dates are aligned with the commercial license dates.
• Economic Activity Survey: Using DIFCSTAT, companies in the financial district can participate in DIFC's annual survey on income and employment. The surveys are aimed at collecting the income and employment data necessary for estimating the value added by DIFC and its contribution to the Gross Domestic Product of Dubai and the UAE.
• Customer satisfaction survey: Using DIFCSTAT, companies can participate in DIFC’s customer satisfaction surveys.
